We want you to be completely satisfied with your new jewelry, so we give you up to 30 days after you’ve received your order to request an exchange or full refund (shipping charges are non-refundable). Once we receive your package, we will process your return within 2 weeks. For exchanges, new shipping charges will be billed to the credit card or payment method you used on the original order. Unfortunately, we can not accept returns on custom orders once you have approved the design.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your new jewelry, so we give you up to 30 days after you’ve received your order to request an exchange or full refund (shipping charges are non-refundable). If you purchase jewelry for holiday gifts from November 15 - December 15, we will extend our return policy to 60 days to ensure the gift recipient will be able to request an exchange or refund, if needed.

Please keep in mind that like people, all gemstones and orchid blossoms are unique. This is part of their beauty! Due to these natural variations and the differences between computer screens, your jewelry may look slightly different in person than it does online. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your purchase from MoonriseJewelry.com, you'll have 30 days to return it for an exchange or full refund (shipping charges excluded).

On the payment screen you'll see the Moonrise Jewelry Gift Card option. Enter the code found on your Gift Card there. That will apply the value of the card to your total. If your product total is more than that, you may pay the remaining amount with any of our other payment methods. If you don't redeem the full value of your Gift Card, the remaining balance will still be available in the future by using the same Gift Card Code on a later purchase. We can ship your order anywhere in the world using the U.S. Postal Service or UPS. Rates vary based on your destination and delivery method, but First Class Mail is always free on orders over $99. All of our jewelry is handcrafted in Virginia, so these delivery estimates include the time we need to prepare your order for shipment. Please remember that our delivery estimates are based on transit times provided by our shipping carriers, and we have no control over the speed of service they provide. If you're in a rush and need to receive your order by a certain date, we recommend choosing one of our expedited services (USPS Priority / Express Mail or UPS Second-Day / Next-Day Air), as First Class Mail can take several weeks for delivery in some areas. The jewelry I'm ordering is a gift. How will it be packaged and will the prices be on the receipt?
We'll make sure your gift arrives ready to delight! All of our jewelry is packaged inside our Moonrise Jewelry gift boxes tied with a bright pink ribbon. At checkout you'll have the option to write a gift message for the recipient, which we will include on a handwritten card with the jewelry. If you'd like us to gift wrap your purchase for you, you'll have the option to choose that service at checkout for a small fee. You'll also be able to indicate your preference for a gift receipt (no prices displayed) at checkout. We take pride in our products' presentation, and our exquisite packaging reflects the quality and attention to detail of the jewelry inside. Earrings arrive hanging on Moonrise Jewelry earring cards and all other pieces are tied with a Moonrise hangtag bearing a description of the piece and the artist's signature. We ship our jewelry inside purple Moonrise gift boxes (made with recycled paper), tied with pink satin ribbon. Real Orchid Necklaces made with the larger blossoms (not the miniatures) are packaged inside an exquisite Moonrise Jewelry purse box adorned with a silk orchid. At checkout you'll have the option to write a gift message for the recipient, which we will include on a handwritten card with the jewelry. Yes! Customization is our specialty! Whether you're searching for the perfect jewelry for your bridal party or have a specific sizing request, we’re happy to work with you to create custom jewelry for your taste. Just Contact Us with your needs so we can discuss your ideas and provide you with a price quote. Basic alterations of our existing designs (custom lengths, converting to clip-on earrings, color changes) are usually ready to ship within a few days, but please give us at least 3 weeks advance notice if you’re interested in original custom designs or bridal jewelry. Sorry, but we can not accept returns on custom orders once you have approved the design.
Yes, but only our own, due to time constraints. We're proud of the quality of our products and offer a Quality Assurance Guarantee on all Moonrise Jewelry pieces. If your jewelry has a manufacturing defect or breaks during the course of normal wear, we will gladly repair or replace it at no charge.

To protect your Real Orchid jewelry, store it in a jewelry box or zippered plastic bag out of direct sunlight and excessive humidity (see our Jewelry Care page for more recommendations on keeping tarnish at bay). We recommend wearing your Real Orchid jewelry or packing it securely in your carry-on luggage whenever you travel. Cushion the blossom and pack it inside a durable box so the weight of your luggage is not pressing directly on the flower.

No, it just smells like leather! The unique tanning process transforms the skins into a durable, odorless leather in the same way that other animal hides have been tanned for thousands of years. We purchase our fish leather from a Canadian tannery that processes salmon, perch, and carp skins discarded by the canning industry. As non-endangered food species, these "repurposed" fish skins are an eco-friendly alternative to other exotic leathers. Mermaid approved!
Due to the rapidly rising cost of silver, gold, and other precious metals we've started offering some of our designs with plated components instead of raising our prices. The look is exactly the same as solid silver or gold, for a fraction of the price.
Our 24K Gold-plated designs have a lovely satin finish and are durable enough for years of enjoyment, covered with a layer of gold that's up to 40 times thicker than plated costume jewelry. The plating process uses 98.5% pure gold and is a gem quality plating that is 40 micro-inches (1 micron) thick over sterling silver, copper, or brass with a fine layer of nickel in between the two. We find this thickness of gold-plating to be extremely durable, reliable, and much more affordable than solid gold. Our silver-plated components also feature a shiny, superior plating that's 40 micro-inches thick over copper or brass with a fine layer of nickel in between the two. It also has a protective anti-tarnish coating for durability.
When polishing plated items it's important to use a gentle, non-abrasive tarnish remover to avoid stripping away the plating over time. We like to use an effective, biodegradable product called Jewel Brite. Find more cleaning suggestions on our Jewelry Care page.
We source our materials from all over the world, and choose to support ethical suppliers that adhere to fair trade values whenever possible. We sell our Real Orchid Blossoms only in our finished jewelry and do not sell them to other designers or resellers.
